Farming & the Environment (Middle School Ages 11 - 14) August 20th to August 24th, 2018
Immerse your children in regenerative agriculture!
Join us for a week of activities & crafts exploring our Farm's ecosystem. Each day we focus on a different earth cycle (i.e. water, carbon, mineral, etc.) & ecosystem (i.e. water-shed, soil, prairie, etc.).
We'll explore how agriculture fits within each ecosystem & how it affects these cycles, with emphasis on how sustainable farming can regenerate the environment.
We hope to instill a passion for kids to "become a Farmer" whether it's through their food choices, growing a vegetable in the kitchen windowsill, or pursuing a vocation in agriculture.
